The Colaba Observatory has recorded 174 mm of rainfall and 84 mm of rain has been recorded in Santacruz in the span of 12 hours, according to the MeT department. The rainfall activity is likely to see an increase between July 26 and 28 and some heavy showers are expected to be observed in Mumbai and the suburbs.
