PLEASE HAVE AVERAGE CARDS CURRENT AND UP TO DATE INCLUDING YOUR
AVERAGES AT THE LAST RECLASSIFICATION.
Dependents with valid ID cards may shoot all gauge events for
targets only on a space available basis.
HOA
CLASSIFICATION:
In no case will a shooter be classified lower than his/her lowest class in any
one gun for HOA.
REGISTRATION: Shooters are to pick up their entry sheet at the registration desk; and indicate their current averages, events to be entered (including concurrent and team events), and partner(s) names for team events. Those who did not pre-register should anticipate some delay in completing their registration at the shoot and paying for their entry. Be sure to come back to the registration area if your classes/averages change as a result of shooting the club shoot that precedes this shoot.
SHOOTER RESPONSIBILITIES: Each shooter is responsible for assuring that he or she is posted properly, including events entered, grouping, classification, and scores. No squad or team will be delayed by an individual's failure to show at the scheduled range and time. Individuals failing to report within 10 minutes of the scheduled starting time will be squadded following the last scheduled squad, if possible and time permitting. Winners must arrange for the pickup of their awards at the shoot. No awards will be mailed.
RULES: The shoot will be conducted in accordance with the rules and procedures of the National Skeet Shooting Association.
LIABILITY RELEASE: The Armed Forces Skeet Association will not be responsible for accidental injury to any shooter or guest during these Championships. Attendance or payment of entry fee confirms your agreement to accept all risks.
SHOOTOFFS WILL BE CONDUCTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH NSSA RULES II-B-8 & II-B-9: That is, when the same individuals are tied for event and concurrent titles, such as Gun Champion and Senior Champion, only one shoot-off will be held to determine both titles. All ties for awards will be shot-off with doubles at stations 3, 4, and 5, miss and out by station. If shootoffs for any event cannot be conducted due to weather, power failure, etc., all awards will be determined by long run using NSSA rules.
REFEREES: Referees will be selected from qualified participants. Pay will be $5.00 per 100 targets. The Chief Referee will schedule referee assignments. Referees must fulfill their obligation by being at the assigned range at the scheduled time.
HOA GUN AWARDS: No shooter may win more than one gun for HOA, except a retired shooter may win the Retired HOA gun and an open HOA gun.
SHOOT REPORTING FOR ALL AMERICAN POINTS: This shoot will be reported to NSSA in the following format. For all gauge, concurrent events, and the 500 HOA, Champion, Runner-up, Third will be reported. Additional positions will be reported based on the number of entries. The 600 HAA event and all team events will be reported as stated in this program.
BASE/CLUB
TEAMS: See NSSA rule II-D-3 for eligibility criteria. Ethics
and honesty cannot be legislated by any rule book.
Base/club team members must be active club shooters and participants in
club activities. Shooting at a
club once or twice a year does not earn eligibility.
Please do what is right when you allow yourself to be entered on one of
these teams.
SQUADDING: Shoot management retains the right to squad individual shooters on any squad that has a vacancy, or to combine less than full squads as necessary.
INTERSERVICE TEAMS: If a service does not have five active duty shooters present for the shoot they may include one retired service member to form a single service team. Retired members may not shoot on any other service teams if there are five active duty members present at the shoot to form a service first team. Active duty military only. Cadets of any source may not shoot on these teams.
